Labour Day or Labor Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.

HAPPY LABOUR DAY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEIICHAN!!

Please excuse the fangirl in me that has been hiding cos news has been so inactive. I will never forget laughing and smiling to this cute boy who is retarded and cute in his own way. Age is but a number to him, really!! Hahahahaha

oww
My teeth has been giving me pains for the past one week. I don't even know if its the wisdom or other monsters attacking my tooth. I hope its the former. I refuse to go to the dentist cos I know either way they would make me pluck it out ): I HATE GOING TO DENTISTS. They give me so much fear ): I think I wont even extract anymore teeth even if you pay me to (ok maybe I would depends on how much haha) I had enough fear, extracting 6 teeth for my braces (which are now screwed ):)

Why do I have such small gums >:

And on top of that I got a lame cut at the edge of the corner of my lips/mouths. Like who the hell gets a cut there?! There is a maximum where I can only open my mouth to and it sucks. It's so lame zzz

life
Death is a subject still very hard for me to grasp. I don't like losing people. Although I did not know him personally, it is sad to know that I have so many friends out there who know him personally or actually lived at this next block. Everytime his name appears on my timeline, my mood changes so drastically. I feel so sad I actually feel like crying. I think about how this could be any one of my friends serving the nation now or worse still, my boyfriend. I felt this way 2 years ago as well although I didn't actually know her that well. It is scary how things can change or happen so sudden and unexpectedly.

I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends and may he rest in peace.

Robert Doisneau (French pronunciation: [ʁɔbɛʁ dwano]; 14 April 1912, Gentilly, Val-de-Marne – 1 April 1994[1]) was a French photographer. In the 1930s he used a Leica on the streets of Paris; together with Henri Cartier-Bresson he was a pioneer of photojournalism.[2] He is renowned for his 1950 image Le baiser de l'hôtel de ville (Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville), a photo of a couple kissing in the busy streets of Paris. Robert Doisneau was appointed a Chevalier (Knight) of the National Order of the Légion d'honneur in 1984.

Eadweard J. Muybridge ( 9 April 1830 – 8 May 1904) was a British photographer who spent much of his working life in North America. He is known for his pioneering work on animal locomotion in 1877 and 1878, which used multiple cameras to capture motion in stop-action photographs, and his zoopraxiscope, a device for projecting motion pictures that pre-dated the flexible perforated film strip.[1] He went on to make many studies of animals and humans in motion, capturing what the human eye could not break down as separate movements.

Sounds like someone I have learnt before in one of the lectures about the horse running one haha

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (March 27, 1886 – August 17, 1969) was a German architect.[1] He is commonly referred to and addressed as Mies, his surname.
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, along with Walter Gropius and Le Corbusier, are widely regarded as the pioneering masters of Modern architecture. Mies, like many of his post World War I contemporaries, sought to establish a new architectural style that could represent modern times just as Classical and Gothic did for their own eras. He created an influential twentieth century architectural style, stated with extreme clarity and simplicity.
